Not exactly smart ...

Not exactly smart to shoot at shallow water at that range and angle. Bullets could ricochet back out and clip you good. Not to mention that the shockwaves from the ballistic impacts would kill fish or whatever living in the river. If this is an uninhabited pond/river/whatever then I guess my last point is moot. Nonetheless, not exactly stellar in terms of gun safety.
