And like BranAxt said, it was just a brand, but it became a stylish alternate name for the dance for a while. The word "tecktonik" is just now sorta outta style and more people call it electro dance ;) Wow, THANK you so ...Wow, THANK you so much. I'll def stop calling it "Tektonic" Wow, I feel like a fool, lol. In te states that's what we call it for it's commercial use. Tektonik was a ...Tektonik was a brand that became associated with the electro dancing community. Companies used the name to create profit, by creating "Tecktonik dance nights". The dance style was always called electro, but those unfamiliar with the community began to call it "Tektonik" because of the commercial publicity. Tektonik was never a dance style. This is electro and electro only.
