The Canon XH-A1 prosumer video camera records video in 24, 30 or 60 fps onto mini HDV tapes. This test uses footage from the Jaws ride at Universal Studios in Florida shot at 60 fps in 1080i and slowed down in Final Cut Pro to 30 - 50% of the original playing speed.

This is a little showcase of filming with the XH-A1s. I used Panalook presets. 1/6 ND filter/210-800 shutter speed with the iris ring fully open. Manual settings but definately not the best filmer and still much to learn to make the picture better. I don't do any film editing obviously I only own a mini laptop currently.

This is some of the footage I have shot with my Canon XH A1 HDV camera. All footage is shot using native gamma, manual control, 24p, and no 35mm adapter (although I'm looking forward to getting my M2). For many of the shots I over exposed just a little to bring out the color. No color corection done in post, except for the shots where I use the limit effect (black, white, and yellow). Edited with Final Cut Pro on a Mac G5 Quad 3.0 Ghz, 2 GB RAM. Sorry for the camera shake, I didn't have a tripod. Song is "Smell of Yellow and Black" by Code Seven.
